Dear Neighbors,
Over the years, many of you have shared thoughtful feedback about compliance notices—specifically, that many notices around maintaining lawn feel unnecessary or overly intrusive. As your elected Board, we value this input and strive to find a balance that respects community feedback while maintaining the Community Wide Standards (CWS) that keep Redmond Ridge beautiful.
Recently, we introduced a trial adjustment to our landscape compliance approach. We’d like to take this opportunity to provide some additional clarification about what this change means:
- Fewer Notices for Minor Issues: We understand that life gets busy, and sometimes tasks like yard upkeep take a little longer than planned. Moving forward, you may not receive a compliance letter for every minor issue. However, ongoing, or more significant concerns will still be addressed.
- A Partnership Approach: We trust that our residents are committed to keeping their homes and yards in good condition and hope this adjustment will allow for more flexibility while continuing to uphold our shared standards.
Our compliance team will continue to conduct regular surveys and focus on addressing significant or persistent issues. At the same time, if you notice a neighbor struggling to maintain their landscaping or other areas, you can share your concerns with the Community Manager at standards@redmondridgeroa.com for follow-up.
Looking ahead, we’ll be conducting a community survey in January or February to gather your thoughts and feedback on this trial adjustment. Your input will help guide how we proceed with landscaping compliance in the future. We encourage everyone to participate and share their perspective!
This approach is rooted in collaboration and trust. To make it successful, we’re asking everyone to stay proactive in caring for their homes, yards, planter strips, and curb areas. By working together, we can reduce the need for notices and maintain the welcoming, well-kept environment we all enjoy.
We also recognize that some residents may be new to Redmond Ridge and unfamiliar with the responsibilities of living in this wonderful community. Thank you for your feedback, your efforts, and your partnership in making Redmond Ridge an exceptional place to live. We’re confident this new approach, with your input, will create a more positive experience for everyone!
Warm regards,
The Redmond Ridge Board of Directors
