What is a Little Free Library?

It’s a “take a book, share a book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories.  In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another to share.

Several years ago, the Little Free Library in Cascara Circle Park was installed with funds from a King County Community Engagement Grant.  For many neighbors, the LFL’s concept of “take a book, share a book,” is new to them.  Help spread the word of what a Little Free Library is by creating a bookmark!
