Parks and Recreation

Redmond Ridge

Redmond Ridge contains more than 14 parks. In addition to the community parks, each neighborhood has its own distinctive parks and open spaces that vary in design and character. Some of the Redmond Ridge parks include:

Cascara Circle
A distinctive circle park in the Cascara Neighborhood.  Children can climb and slide on the play equipment, and those of any age can enjoy a walk on a trail among the trees, play Frisbee on the lawn, or just daydream on the grass. The fire pit is an excellent place for evening gatherings and story telling.

Cascara Gardens
Located adjacent to Cascara Circle, this large park offers amenities for people of all ages.  There is a community Pea Patch for those who would like to exercise their green thumb, as well as a basketball court, playground equipment, and plenty of grassy area to run and play.  Also, you will find some nice grassy hills here, so it is the perfect spot for sledding on a snow day!

Cedar Park
A stretch of ten acres along Cedar Park Crescent NE and home to the Redmond Ridge Community Center. Facilities include tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts for active recreation. A picnic area, trails, fire pit, tot lot and children's playground equipment are great for family activities. The national park inspired Community Center includes a great room, meeting rooms, and an activity room to round out the amenities for social enjoyment.

Redmond Ridge Commons
Located along Cedar Park Crescent at 227th Way NE, and adjacent to magnificent tall trees.  This is a terrific park for family fun, with a play structure and swings, a basketball court and a picnic shelter.

Fern Reach Circle
Another lovely circle park that is centered in the Fern Reach Neighborhood with amenities similar to Cascara Circle.

Redmond Ridge Park (King County Park)
Located at the corner of Redmond Ridge Drive NE and Aldercrest Drive (parking entrance on Aldercrest Drive.)  Park amenities include a lighted soccer field and baseball diamond with dugout and bleachers. Other features include a grassy play meadow, covered picnic shelter, children’s playground equipment, public restrooms and sufficient parking.
